VALLE DE LA ENGORDA
Before the arrive to the Valle de Colina Hot Spring, you can have an interesting trekking for 2 hours, to the Valle de La Engorda (the feeding valley), s. The difference of level is 300 meters and the distance is 1,5 km. In only 50 minutes walking we arrive to this beautiful hanging valley, used by farmers for feeding animals in spring and summer. In winter is abandoned.
In this valley we come at 2.800 m.a.s.l., at the feet of the San José Volcano, and we have spectacular views to this volcano of 5.800 m.a.s.l. and to a lot of hanging glaciers.
Antes de llegar a las termas Valle de Colina, podrá realizar una caminata de 1,5 km y 300 metros de desnivel, hasta un valle escondido ubicado a los pies del volcán San José, ubicado a 2.800 m de altitud. Desde este lugar podrá tener fabulosas vistas a este volcán de 5.800 metros de altitud y sus glaciares.
